All of our varifocal lenses can have one of our ranges of coatings such as Crizal^® and Trio™ applied. Designed to extend the life of your lenses, our different coatings also have visual benefits such as anti-reflective surfaces and dazzle free visibility.

The coating is made of several ultra thin layers each having a specific purpose - the first layer is a varnish that helps increase the lens' resistance to scratching. Several additional layers are then added to remove reflections on the lens and improve visual contrast. The top layer is an oil and water repellent agent that prevents the lens from smearing and makes it easier to clean.
