Its R&D work on lens manufacturing involves several levels:

- materials and treatments that ensure progressive lens protection, transparency, comfort and attractiveness, as well as additional features  such as anti-glare, scratch-resistance, smudge-resistance, and anti-static.

- cutting edge lens manufacturing techniques from the design through to the manufacture of spectacle lenses

- development of a solid network of partners including universities, laboratories and industrial groups .

- reviewing optics technology to identify new opportunities offered by scientific and technical advances that will be used in the lenses of tomorrow.
